Hello Church Family. Carnival begins on Friday, June 27! I’m looking forward to another great year of serving the community through our stand and profits made for our Love Fund. I can’t do it without a lot of help and I know you’ll deliver as always and I appreciate it immensely. Thank you to those who have already signed up! With the 4th being on Friday, fireworks will be the first Saturday at 10 pm and the second Saturday at 11 pm.

This is the fourth year that we will be serving from the front of the stand to be more efficient. If you have suggestions to make it better, let me know. If possible, please arrive by 5:15 to be ready to serve at 5:30.

1 person for drinks is sufficient for most of the week and it’s a great place to include our kids. On slow nights, the second person may end up helping the servers. Servers will now be behind the scenes dishing up food.

I’m the Runner going for supplies, food and money and keeping things running smoothly (hopefully) every night.

The 2 Waiters/Cashiers will be taking the orders, handing trays of food to customers, and taking the money. You need to be able to “yell” the orders to the back.

“Recruiter” is the most important position before carnival starts! In the past, it was called Manager. Sign up for a night or two and grab friends and family to help serve. I didn’t have this spot for a few years and it meant I had to make sure all spots were filled. Your help in this is greatly appreciated! If you need some help thinking of helpers, I can suggest a couple names. Call or text me at 570-394-1450 as soon as possible to choose your night.

• I added 2 slots for servers before the parade and 2 extra for heat up each night.
• There are 2 shifts on the last Saturday since it’s a longer night. If you can stay all night, sign up for both time slots. If you want to see the fireworks, we’ll do our best to get you out of the stand in time.
• There are also 2 time slots for tear down as it got a little crazy last year. I want to have a smaller group to start. If you can do both, that would be great.
