“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” – Colossians 3:17

“GIVE OUR BEST”

I realize that in my walk with and for Jesus, many times I have not given my ALL.

In my church, it is easy to write a check once a week, attend Sunday School and Church once a week, but I fall short of giving my ALL on not attending Wednesday evening prayer meetings, or visiting the shut-ins in our church family, or asking our Pastor how may I help you in your ministry.

I do not give my ALL in daily reading and studying the Bible…it is so easy for me to miss this daily blessing.  I need to set a time each day for this important part of my walk with Jesus and to listen to what God is calling me to do for Him.

In my ministry to the Gideons I know I could and should be sharing more copies of God’s Holy Word to those that I meet every day.  I do not give my ALL by not offering them a New Testament which contains helps for all of life’s problems and that special gift from God, the plan for receiving His free gift of eternal salvation.
In my daily walk as a disciple for Jesus am I always kind to all that I meet each day; at home with my family and friends, at the store, as I shop, as I drive my car?  At times I do not always give my best in glorifying God.

John 19:30, Jesus declares “IT IS FINISHED”.  Folks, He gave His ALL for my sins and your sins, that by repenting of our sins and accepting Jesus by faith you may be saved and will then spend eternity with Him and your loved ones.
