The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. – Psalms 96:7
In the movie “War Room”, a woman desperately tries to save her failing marriage. She goes through troubling times, but instead of her fighting with her husband, she depends on God fighting for her. She heroically goes into her closet to pray for her husband. She actually cleared out her whole closet just so she could focus on her husband and God. Later in the story, the husband comes to his senses and begins to realize he wants to repair his marriage and his life. God helped the wife, and He was with her and took her by His side. Also, the woman took refuge in God and trusted him instead of making herself crazy trying to do it all herself. In the end, God saved the marriage.
This movie shows us that God is with us and we are safe with Him. It is great advice for any difficulty in our lives. In Psalms 96:7, David writes “The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge.” (Good News Bible)
